Typically, Apple supports iPhones for 4-5 years after they stop selling them as new. So if we assume Apple comes out with a new SE iPhone in 2018 (as rumored), and we also assume Apple continues to come out with new versions of iOS each year, then theoretically the iPhone SE will support up to iOS 16 or 17.
