How does mole taste like?

Mole is a very complex sauce, often served with chicken. Mole Poblano is mildly spicy, nothing fierce. But yes, it's more like a gravy (sauce) with meat, usually chicken, cooked in it. It doesn't taste like chocolate at all; it just has a hint of that.
