Why is f1 so hard?

Less difficult that they are to drive at lower speeds. F1 cars are made to be driven as fast as they could go. This means at lower speeds, the cars do not have any real downforce and are therefore harder to drive. Finally, every F1 car is finely tuned to the high speeds they were made to run at.
