If the school dance is over at 10:30 and the child is 16, the curfew might be 11 o'clock. They have time to go to McDonald's, get a Coke and head on home. "If they're at a friend's home playing video games, the parents are home and the child is 17 or 18, then the curfew may be 12 o'clock or 1 o'clock" she says.
