Do you have to sit out a year if you transfer from NAIA to NCAA?

The NAIA transfer rules are basically the same for athletes coming from a four- year NCAA school or from a four- year NAIA school. The NAIA transfer rules state that student-athletes qualify as transfer students if they: Have taken time off between high school and coming to the NAIA.
